Within the framework of the Erasmus + STEM project, NLC «M. Auezov South Kazakhstan university» held the first STEM festival with the participation of teachers, undergraduates of M. Auezov SKU and teachers and students of schools in Shymkent and Turkestan region.

Project manager at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University , Associate Professor of the Department of Physics Gaukhar Omashova made a welcoming speech to the participants of the festival.
Doctoral student of the Department of Informatics Malika Karatayeva made a report "Methodological foundations of training future teachers of informatics for the implementation of STEM education". Master student of the MEP-20-3nk group Baumuratova Sholpan made a report on the topic: "Using the Bootstrap library in web programming."

Master student of the department "Informatics" of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, Kurakbai Olzhas made a report on the topic "Sports robotics".
Associate professors M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University Zhaidakbayeva L., Omasheva G. and Adyrbekova G. held a STEM - hackathon for students, undergraduates and teachers of the Natural Science Pedagogical Higher School of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University. They presented their presentations using STEM directions in an interdisciplinary direction in physics, ecology, robotics, programming. A quiz about air and environmental protection from pollution was organized using the Kahoot mobile application.

Very informative speeches and presentations were made about the "Green Alternative Economy", the use of robots in a pandemic. Students, undergraduates and teachers of the Natural Science Pedagogical Higher School of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University took part.
