The international project "Integrated Approach to STEM Teacher Training", covering the 2019-2023 years, is implemented jointly with partner universities.
The purpose of the project is to improve the quality of training of STEM teachers in partner universities in accordance with the rules of the Bologna process and the needs of the Kazakhstan education system. Meeting of scientists of partner universities under the Erasmus + program within the framework of the STEM teacher training project.
From 20.06.2022 to 30.06.2022 y. Within the framework of the summer school program, a STEM center was opened at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, its coordinator M. Serik presented the purpose and work of the Center, where teachers and undergraduates of the M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University took part in the opening ceremony. On behalf of the M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, the coordinator of the university project G.Sh. Omashova spoke, who wished succussing.
The purpose of the STEM center is to increase the interest of students in engineering and technical specialties based on the integrated use of science, engineering, natural sciences and mathematics, providing young people with early career guidance and developing potential in the fields of high-performance and science-intensive technologies.
