STEM day began with an exhibition in the lobby of the Higher School of Natural Sciences and Pedagogy, where schoolchildren, students, master students and teachers demonstrated their robotics models, biological and chemical laboratories, the results of physical experiments, etc.
There were 43 participants in total, including students of general education schools No. 3, 7, 19, 24, 47, 77, 87, 132, specialized trilingual boarding school No. 2, master students, teachers, lecturers of colleges and universities.
After the exhibition, Nurlybai Madiyarov, the Dean of the Higher School of Natural Sciences and Pedagogy greeted the participants of STEM day.Students and teachers of the Higher School of "Natural Sciences and Pedagogy" of M. Auezov SKU presented demonstration experiments in accordance with the areas of master’s programs. Master students of the educational program 7M01522 - "Physics and computer science with the basics of STEM education" presented a computer technology that allows the student to see the real world with virtual objects superimposed on it, which creates the effect of their presence in a single space, presented case on robotics in STEM education, shared their experience in STEM activity.
